For over 10 years in NYC, Patrice worked with Judith Gerberg (MA, LMHC) art therapy field pioneer and career/ life specialist at gerberg & co. Her internships specialized in individual & family therapy, utilizing the creative expressive therapies to treat children in foster care and help individuals participating in alcohol and drug treatment centers.
While working as a therapist, Patrice designed a creative arts healing group for children who are victims of domestic violence, as well as provided individual and family therapy.
Her post-graduate training continues to specialize in using the expressive arts to facilitate therapeutic healing and deeper understanding of individuals and their families.
As a therapist, Patrice provides an opportunity to be a mirror for her clients that facilitates insight & support. Sometimes a gentle echo, sometimes a noisier boom, Patrice encourages the client’s uniqueness and strengths necessary for their well-being through the use of expressive creative therapies.
