Stefan Jones, LCSW
Stepfan Jones, LICSW, TF-CBT TRAINED
Hi, I am Stepfan Jones. I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and I enjoy working with all types of individuals in various walks of life. I have worked with individuals with depression, anxiety, ADHD, and anger issues to name a few. Working to help individuals cope with life’s challenges. I have also spent time in the school system working with adolescents with school issues and life challenges, as well as, with college students as a spiritual counselor and life coach.
What Led Me To Becoming A Therapist
I have always been obsessed with helping others find their way. When I was younger I remember times at theme parks and play places were I took much delight in helping smaller lost children find their parents. Their parents would give me a token of appreciation, but I loved the feeling of knowing I helped someone in need. Going into my adolescent years I took an interest in wanting to understand why people responded to various life situations in the manner that they did. Which long story short, eventually lead to my desire to learn more about the mind and how to help people heal this vital aspect of their lives. I had a deep interest in sociology and psychology classes in high school and pursued it later in college, after a brief detour as a Physical therapist. Later I could no longer fight that I enjoyed healing the mind more than the body and that led me to where I am today.
