What Led Me To Becoming a Therapist
From a young age I knew I wanted to help people through the connection I created with them. Which avenue I would take in helping others took many twist and turns until I was in college noting the various disparities on campus. At this time I found social work where the social justice problems intersected with the personal connection I had always valued. The passion for social work only grew and led me to attend the University of Texas at Austin’s Social Work Master’s program which helped me understand human behavior, development, and so many other helpful skills. I feel honored to be able to support and hold space for those who are hurting or struggling.
What I want for you during our session
I am committed to holding an empathetic, supportive space for healing and reflection. Our sessions will be a time where you can feel frustrated, happy, sad, or elated, with no fear or judgement. In this space, we will collaborate on the goals and aspirations you have for your future while taking note and empathy of your past experiences. Services are offered in English and Spanish.
